Jim is not a 1st AD by trade but brought to the set of "CHAIN LINK" a wide range of experience as an independent filmmaker and producer. He has created many projects from concept to finish, with budgets ranging from $75 to $75 million.
Jim's experience as a producer includes independent shorts, feature films, and commercials as well as content for VH1, IBM, ALLSTATE, and MICROSOFT.
Jim has also worked professionally as a camera operator, editor, actor, and writer.
Jim hails from Chicago and attended the University of Michigan where he competed as an All-American gymnast.
Branwyne is a highly experienced Makeup and Special Effects Artisit with a talent for translating both beauty and gore from script to screen.
With six feature films, a bevy of shorts under her belt, and most recently NBC's "AMERICAN GLADIATORS" she has established a reputation for being orgnaized, dependable, and creatively resourceful.
In "CHAIN LINK," Branwyne was also asked to take on the additional tasks of Wardrobe and Stylist, which she graciously undertook with the same commitment and enthusiasm.
Dylan has worked steadily in the indie film world for the past four year’s doing the operator- working on over 15 low budget features and numerous shorts. Additional credits include everything from producer, UPM, production coordinator, PA, and grip.
Production work was fulfilling- but his ultimate passion was to make his own movie. During down time on set he wrote scripts- one of which would become CHAIN LINK. All the while he absorbed the operations of a film set- he learned what to do and what mistakes to avoid.
With his own money and his own debt- he set out to make his own mistakes. "CHAIN LINK" is his first shot as Writer / Director.
James is an artist, actor, Martial Artist and stunt man.
He began his movie career ten years ago at Star Gate Films as a miniature builder and prop maker. Later on he also worked for Introvision International. During this time he learned set construction and set dressing.
James became interested in stunt work, so he made time to train as a stunt widely known in the stunt industry. He continues training with the 87 Eleven Action Team.
Not just satisfied with all these talents and accomplishments, James is also honing his acting abilities while studying with Janet Alhanti.
Melanie was born in Long Island, New York and since moving to Los Angeles in 2003, she has worked as an Assistant Director, Unit Production Manager, Producer, and Director.
the Wonderland Award in 2007. She produced "BROWN," a film directed by Chris Groban which is scheduled to screen at USC's First Look Festival as well as the DGA in March of 2008.
Melanie currently attends USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angles, with a concentration in Production and Screenwriting. She will graduate magna cu laude in 2008.
Matt started shooting action photography and video in southern California in 1996.
He covered the 1998 "X-games" in San Francisco and has traveled as far as Indonesia's remote Mentawai Islands doing surf photography.
He attended New York University in his pursuit of the technical discipline of photography. His experience in New York has allowed him to thrive in the independent film world, and he has since shot over three dozen shorts, music videos, and commercials.
Matt's work has earned him a reputation as a steady handed camera operator and an expert craftsman with available light.
"CHAIN LINK" is his first feature film as Director of Photography.
